However, these standard self hypnosis kits may not be suitable for everyone, they may work for some people, or they may not work for other people. Self Hypnosis Kit: Progressive Relaxation Tape

Firstly, you need to include a progressive relaxation tape or CD in your personalized self hypnosis kit. Progressive relaxation is a technique of relaxation, in which the major group of muscles are tensed, held for 3 seconds, and then released. This technique starts from relaxing your feet till your muscles of head.

You will enter hypnotic trance after completely relaxing your body and mind. It’s your wish to choose a male reader or female, according your comfort. You can also choose CD without any background sound, or with some white noise, or with some smooth music.

You can try couple of CDs or tapes, and choose which one works best for you. You can also make your own CD with the help of a friend, or a family member that has a comforting voice, and your own background sound selections.

Make a List of Affirmations or Images

Secondly, make a list of affirmations or images. You need to remember one thing that it is necessary to get focused on what you want to change, before starting your self hypnosis session. Many of the people focus the things they want to change, but there are few people who just like to get into deep relaxation state.

Write down everything that you want to changes and also the images that you plan to use. Make sure all these massages are in positive done. Now it is best that instead of saying that you want to stop smoking, say or picture yourself about the things that you could do if you were a non-smoker.

Including Things That Make You Feel Comfortable

You should also include that make you feel comfortable in your self hypnosis kit. Try to use the same environment each time as it will make easier and easier for you to enter into hypnotic trance. Therefore, include things such as same scented candles, same blanket, etc.

Once you have prepared your personalized self hypnosis kit, you can practice self hypnosis. But, make sure to practice this daily, at least for 30 minutes. You will certainly see positive results sooner or later.
